Frequently Asked Questions

Do you see whole families?

Yes! At Ponte Vedra Complete Dentistry, Dr. Townsend and Dr. Harth take pride in offering our patients truly comprehensive care, which means there’s something for the whole family. Pediatric care for children, advanced restorative solutions for senior citizens, and plenty of options for everyone in-between are available!

I’m missing a tooth. What are my options for replacing it?

For most cases, our doctors strongly recommend dental implants as the ideal solution for tooth loss because of their impressive aesthetic quality, health benefits, and longevity. They place and restore implants right here in our Ponte Vedra Beach. Traditional dentures are also available.

What’s important to remember is that there is no “right” reconstructive service for every single patient in need. Everyone has their own unique preferences and goals – that’s why our team will be happy to review these options in greater detail with you so that we can be sure to settle on the one that’s the best fit for you.

Can you help me improve the appearance of my smile?

Of course. Our practice offers several cosmetic services that can erase common dental flaws and greatly improve your self-confidence, including teeth whitening solutions, porcelain veneers, and more.

I want a straighter smile, but I’m not interested in wearing metal braces. Is there another option?

Yes! Invisalign is an alternative to traditional orthodontics that is much more aesthetically pleasing. Instead of wires and brackets, patients are provided with a set of clear aligners that each represent a different stage of their smile as teeth are gradually shifted into a more ideal position. The aligners are very subtle when worn, and they’re also removable for maximum convenience and comfort.

Do you see emergency cases?

Yes. Please contact us right away if you experience a severe toothache, knocked-out tooth, or other urgent dental situation that requires attention. Our doctors will make every effort to see you on the same day as your initial call, and they even build time into their routine schedules to do so.

Do I have to attend multiple appointments if I need a new dental restoration?

Not necessarily. If you have a damaged or badly decayed tooth that requires a new dental crown, our state-of-the-art E4D system can create permanent, high-quality restorations over the course of a single appointment, eliminating unpleasant physical impressions and temporary crowns in the process.

Do you accept dental insurance?

We are happy to file claims for PPO insurance plans on your behalf and help you maximize your available benefits. For more information, please visit our new patients page.
